Hell Yeah! Everything works perfectly! Thank you so much. Please let me know if there's anything that I can do for you guys. I'd like to see this project completed to the fullest.

Good luck to you guys!

Thanks :) if you are apart of any other forums feel free to spread the word of this hack/mod. The more people that know the better  :P. Hopefully over the next month or so I can get an image editor put together so people can add custom teams and change the graphics themselves also!

Is there anyway to possibly change the music that plays during the games? I was thinking how cool it would be to replace those with NFL films music.

You might be able to. I'd imagine the loop is pretty small so I'm not sure if a super long song could be inserted. There is an existing tool you could play around with and try out.

Link to the took: http://www.goldeneyevault.com/viewfile.php?id=212

If you figure anything out let me know, would be interesting to see different songs/sounds.

Just another update, Zoinkity gave me a pretty in depth overview on the image files in the N64 blitz game.  I was able  to create a program to convert images both ways. I will probably try and release it the next few weeks.

Yes, you can change the music, and you can use SubDrag's N64SoundTools to do it.  The format is N64PtrTablesV2.

Although his tool can alter sound in-place, it has the limitation of not being able to exceed the original bank's sound.  You can use a dummy file though (basically a blank file of absurd size with the right header, or an extracted one), edit that, then insert it into the filetable like any other data (teams, images, etc.).  Filename has to be the same for the stuff to be found.

Actually, you can also insert the announcer callouts for teams the same way.  Filename should be the team's name.  Look at existing ones for a reference.  It doesn't use hard IDs to them, only filename lookup.  Only trouble is getting some nice, clean source to work from, otherwise I would have done it for the Texans.

First off Awesome job on the mod! , NFL Blitz was always one of my favorite games and I was hoping eventually someone would update the rosters  ;D... I was wondering is there anyway to edit the colors of the jerseys? for example The Pats have there old Royal Blue jerseys it would be amazing to change them to navy , too bad the mod wasn't for Blitz 2001 they had their Navy jerseys in that game... also im not sure if its just me or what but I played like 6 games and I always have on my white/away jerseys  ???

Hey Patriots521,

Yes that should be possible. I'd imagine they use the same format for images in 2001 as they did in 2000 so I think I could just swap them in. Otherwise I'm also working on an image editor that should be done sooner then later.

No problem man. Seriously thanks for keeping this project alive. Would it be alright if I streamed some games on my twitch channel? Season Mode seems to be working fine for me with the updated rosters.
